Volunteer Information
Between 800 to 1,000 volunteers are the force behind each year's successful event. The Balloon Classic would not happen without the help of many volunteers!The Leadership Team is made up of over 20 volunteers. Each team member is assigned responsibilities for the event. Each team member can have one or more executive assistants who share in the responsibility for their portion of the event. Each leadership team person and assistant also rely on volunteers to help complete the individual tasks.
Volunteers are needed in the months preceding the event and each day during the event. Some of the ways to help are: administrative, distributing posters prior to the event, field set up and take down for the event, setting up at the hotel for the reception on Friday night, distributing photo contest entry forms during the event, etc.
YOU MUST DOWNLOAD AND READ THE VOLUNTEER HANDBOOK BEFORE YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO SIGN UP OR VOLUNTEER AT THE COLORADO BALLOON CLASSIC.
